Who we are
The New York International Youth Philharmonic (NYIYP) strives to instill a passion for music in its members, inspiring talented young musicians to further hone their skills and spread their love for music. These musicians gain invaluable experience and an essential sense of accomplishment and pride through regular rehearsals and various performances.
Our effective musical program encourages developing musicians to explore their musical curiosities through its diverse repertoire. Throughout the years, the children learn to cooperate and harmonize with one another, forming strong friendships and an unbreakable sense of community and teamwork.
Our overall mission at the NYIYP is to inspire our members to use their musical talents to give back to the community through the beauty of music.

Senior Violin Instructor, Albertson, NY Create lesson plans that cater to needs and skill levels of each student; provide expert instruction in violin technique and performance to students at various levels; act as a mentor by guiding students’ musical development; provide constructive feedback to enhance technical skills and musical understanding; communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on students’ progress and set goals for improvement; coordinate music programs for orchestra, chamber music, ensemble, and various performances. Master’s degree in Music or Music Education plus 6 months of experience in job offered or as Violin Teacher. Annual Salary $78,630.
